2. Take the West Virginia real estate exam

Before taking the exam, you should submit an application to the West Virginia Real Estate Commission. It will indicate whether you are eligible to take the exam. The application will cost you $25.

After you receive confirmation from the Commission, you will be able to take the West Virginia real estate exam. To register, schedule a sitting, click here and pay the $96 fee (per attempt).

The real estate exam consists of 150 questions, which cover state and national sections. You will have four hours to finish the entire test.

You must score at least 75% to pass the exam. Nonetheless, if you fail, you can retake it and there is no limit on the number of retakes.

3. Select a broker

In West Virginia, you must work with a sponsoring broker under his supervision so that he can sponsor your real estate license.
